Welcome
to the website of STAR, the Sunbeam Talbot
Alpine Register. This club was established
in 1969 to encourage the use, restoration
and preservation of the Talbot, Sunbeam
Talbot and Sunbeam cars manufactured by
the Rootes Group between 1936 and 1957. The
website will provide the following
information :-
SPARES
Some of our members may already have
received an application form from Sunbeam
Talbot Spares (STS) inviting them to join
the Sunbeam Talbot Owners Club (STOC).
Whilst the committee of STAR
wholeheartedly support STS in this fund
raising venture to fund re-manufacture of
parts for our cars, it is important to
understand that the STOC is NOT
associated with STAR.
The spares fund that STAR has built up
since 1982 will almost certainly be used
in conjunction with STS, also for the
purpose of re-manufacture. The details of
this process are currently being
negotiated.
These two approaches to re-manufacturing
unobtainable parts will surely be a great
benefit to all Sunbeam and Sunbeam Talbot
cars and their owners.

available.
